Terms
Last updated October 5, 2026
These terms apply when you use Pushpin (pushpinlocal.com), its emails and its notifications. Pushpin is run by Upside Studio, Inc., 1613 Chelsea Rd. #313, San Marino CA 91108 (“we”). By using Pushpin you agree to these terms and to our Privacy page. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
What Pushpin is
Pushpin is a free listing of local events. We collect them from public calendars, websites and newsletters (some read with the help of AI), and from people who add them. We check what we list, but events are run by their organizers, not by us, and dates, times, prices and details can change or be wrong. Check with the organizer before you go, especially before buying tickets. We aren’t responsible for the events themselves or for anything that happens at them.
Who can use it
You need to be at least 13 to create an account. Accounts are for one person. You sign in with your email or with Google, so keep access to that account safe. You can delete your account at any time from Account.
What you send us
- Send only events, corrections, photos and flyers that are accurate and that you have the right to share.
- You keep any rights you have in what you send. You give us permission to publish, edit, shorten and show it on Pushpin and in our emails and notifications, for free and for as long as it’s listed.
- We review what people send, and may edit, decline or remove anything, for any reason.
- Only claim a page for an organization you represent.
For organizers
If we list one of your events and something is wrong, use Suggest a correction on the event, or write to hello@pushpinlocal.com. If you’d rather we didn’t list your events at all, tell us and we’ll stop. Each listing links back to where it came from.
Using Pushpin fairly
Please don’t:
- send spam, fake events, or anything illegal, hateful, harassing or misleading;
- pretend to be someone else, or claim a page that isn’t yours;
- try to get into other people’s accounts or our systems, or get around the limits on forms;
- overload the site, or copy it in bulk by automated means.
We may remove content, or suspend or close accounts, that break these terms.
Copyright
The site’s design, code and text are ours. Event details belong to whoever published them. If you believe something on Pushpin infringes your copyright, write to hello@pushpinlocal.com with the page’s address and what it copies, and we’ll remove it if it does.
Links to other sites
Events link to organizers’ sites, ticket sellers, maps and calendars. Those sites aren’t ours and have their own terms.
No guarantees
Pushpin is provided as is and as available. We work to keep it accurate and running, but we can’t promise it will always be available, complete or free of mistakes. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss from using Pushpin or relying on its listings, and our total liability to you is limited to $100.
Changes and ending
We may change Pushpin, or stop offering it, at any time. If these terms change, we’ll update this page and its date, and email account holders about anything important; using Pushpin afterward means you accept them. You can stop using Pushpin and delete your account whenever you like.
The law
These terms are governed by the laws of California. Any dispute goes to the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
