Free Compost Giveaway & Shredding Event

Valley Vista Services will hold a Compost Giveaway and Document Shredding event on Saturday, October 17, from 8 AM to 2 PM. Proof of residency (postcard, I.D., or utility bill) is required. The Compost Giveaway will take place at Lacy Park – St. Albans Road Parking Lot (1196 St. Albans Rd, San Marino, 91108) with up to five bags of compost (approximately 35 pounds each) per household available on a first-come, first-served basis. This is a drive-thru event and no plastic bags or personal containers are allowed. Document Shredding will be held at the Stoneman Building (1560 Pasqualito Dr, San Marino, 91108) with a limit of up to 10 banker boxes per household. Please remove all staples and clips, and remove documents from binders and plastic sleeves. Shredding services are available until capacity is reached.
