Free Flu Shot Clinic + Free Health Screening

Library Location: Hastings Branch Library Audience: Adults,Adults 50+ Event Type: Health & Wellness Huntington Hospital is offering Flu Shot Clinics at Pasadena Public Libraries. Please see criteria below before planning to attend. In addition to flu shots, get free health counseling and guidance from a registered nurse, including screenings for Hypertension (high blood pressure) and Diabetes (2 hr. minimum fasting required for diabetes screening). No appointment necessary! Criteria for Flu Vaccine Not seriously ill at time of vaccine, nor present with the following symptoms: • Fever or chills Cough, Congestion, or runny nose • Shortness of breath or have difficulty breathing • Fatigue Muscle or body aches • Headache • New loss of taste or smell • Sore throat • Nausea or vomiting • Diarrhea To receive the flu vaccine, you must be:• At least 18 years old, or giving consent for your child, ages 9-17 years • Not allergic to eggs or the influenza vaccine • Not have a history of Guillain-Barre Syndrome Courtesy of Huntington Health Community Outreach.
