Political Advocacy Group - Altagether

Political Advocacy Working Group We identify and track legislation (county, state, and federal) that has direct impact on Altadena’s recovery to help make our community informed. In partnership with other orgs in the vast fire recovery network, we communicate pertinent legislation to our community and organize our political will as Altagether to either help that legislation pass, oppose its passage, or amend the legislation to better fit our needs. We power map the structures of government that directly affect our community’s recovery so that we can act with precision. We endeavor to understand the continually changing varied needs of our community and reach within its vast resources to suggest and in some instances pen legislation that can be brought to elected officials offices. We help bring strength to the voices of those that feel alone and raise them within our chorus to bring our community’s truth to the room’s in our county, state, and country where decisions are made.
